The greek gonvernment has shut down the public television and radio broadcasting without an approval by the parliament. Not difficult to understand the reasons :

  • cover the fiasco of selling the public gas organization to GASPROM company
  • give a public message of a “strong and decisive gonvernment” and cause elections after the latest gallop that showed a small precedence against their political opponents, also counting to get again far right voters that moved to the neonazi party
  • fire some more thousands of people that the IMF asked
  • stop the almost only quality programms the greek tv had and condemn the people in viewing the visual trash of private Greek channels , so that they have a stupid crowd against them
  • make a new deal with the private channels owners that support the gonvernment about the profit of advertisments
  • capture the vast visual and audio archives that public television owns and delete from it big parts of greek contemporary history that don't suit the authority 's ambitions
  • etc
  • etc
  • ...

Here the public television people still broadcast "illegally" :

and here the same for the public radio broadcast:

Prime Minister appears ready to go on with the far right politics and austerity measures , while his two gonvernment's cheerleaders are hypocritically whining near him for the decisions they have taken all these months together.

The things that happen in Greece are an open threat to democracy and to the hope of Greek people for a better future.
